VASCOR’s logistics team includes more than 200 employees and dedicated personnel. They are led by a highly experienced management team with decades of collective experience in the logistic and supply chain solutions industry. They have collectively developed, implemented, and maintained supply chain solutions delivering millions of dollars in cost savings and optimized levels of service. Their depth of experience in operations management, technology solutions, and transportation management is unparalleled in this industry.


As President and CEO of VASCOR, Jim Dunn leads the management team in building supply chain solutions for clients' needs. With over 30 years of experience in Inbound Logistics, Jim has played a critical role in transitioning VASCOR as a stand-alone company from its joint venture parents, and has expanded operations into Mexico and Canada.


Jim was appointed President and CEO of VASCOR in 1996. His career path prior to joining VASCOR has been dedicated solely to the fields of transportation and logistic services.


Jim received his BS Degree from the Indiana University School of Business. He was awarded a PhD from Indiana University, where he double-majored in Transportation and Economic Analysis.

As Executive Vice President, Tomonori Kono plays a valuable role in coordinating the necessary efforts between VASCOR, our customers and our joint venture partner, Fujitrans Corporation.


Kono-san was assigned to support VASCOR in 2009 from his role as Container Business Manager at Fujitrans Corporation, where he joined in 1991 and was responsible for container transport arrangement by truck, import/export cargo planning, container vessel operation, and inventory control.


Kono-san earned his Japanese Law Degree from Aichi Gakuin University.

As Vice President of Logistics, Daniel Greenberg has led the Inbound Logistics team for VASCOR since 1988. He is responsible for all aspects of inbound logistics operations including transportation of production parts, supply chain management, parts order management, non-scheduled expedited services, cross dock management and 24/7 customer service to our customer base.


Prior to joining VASCOR, Dan held several positions with Roadway Express followed by American President Trucking, a subsidiary of APL Logistics with a cumulative experience of 30 plus years.


Dan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from William Paterson University in New Jersey.

As Vice President of Finished Vehicle Logistics, Tom Western has led the team since 1998. He is responsible for vehicle inspection services, outbound transportation, vehicle storage/accessorization, and claims management.


Prior to joining VASCOR, Tom served in the United States Marine Corps and retired in 1998 having the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.


Tom received his BA degree from California State University Fresno and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.

Vice President of Sales, Finished Vehicle Services. Rick Blank possesses 30 plus years of finished vehicle logistics experience covering a wide scope. His experience and expertise have been in the automobile transport and ocean port processing industries, as well as inland rail and auto processing centers.


Prior to joining VASCOR, Rick worked for 14 years with American Suzuki Motor Corporation overseeing multiple port and rail operations, including various logistical activities at a North American auto production facility.

As Vice President of Finance, Jinny Daugherty is responsible for the management of the finance, treasury, accounting and human resources functions winthin VASCOR.


Prior to joining VASCOR, Jinny was Financial Reporting Manager of Kentucky Utilities in Lexington, where she worked for 18 years. Jinny joined VASCOR as controller in 2000 and was subsequently promoted to Vice President of Finance in 2006.


Jinny graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.

As Vice President of Information Technology, Lee Jones is responsible for the management and development of VASCOR’s Information Technology Solutions.


Lee joined VASCOR in 1992 and was responsible for the development of VASCOR’s initial proprietary programs, which provided operational control and data collection on Import CKD, yard management, milk runs, specialized transportation, and vehicle inspections.


Lee graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelors Degree in Information Systems.

As General Manager of Strategic Planning and Business Development, Ellen Fontaine is responsible for VASCOR’s strategic plans and initiatives as well as marketing and business development efforts.


Prior to joining VASCOR in 2005 Ellen worked for several Fortune 500 companies with responsibilities in finance, marketing, strategic market research, and competitive analysis.


Ellen earned her Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Accounting from the University of Louisville. She holds an MBA from Webster University with a concentration in Management and Finance.

As General Manager of VASCOR de Mexico, Alejandro Marines Rodriguez is responsible for all sales and operations of VASCOR de Mexico.


Prior to joining VASCOR de Mexico, Alejandro held a variety of positions related to automotive sector having spent 5 years with UPS, 8 years with DHL, and 2.5 years with Penske Logistics.


Alejandro received his BA from Universidad La Salle and an MBA from ITESM.
